8/7/2002 03:47:00 PM|||Amy|||I will soon be moving my site to another URL. John, my amazing husband, has just recently created a family website for us. I am going to attach Kangatopia onto it - as soon as I have the time...

When we were out shopping this weekend, we met this couple who have a baby a month older than Lauren. This happens a lot actually - we will start talking to parents with a child the same age as one of ours that we happen to meet somewhere. It's very random. Once we met these people at the Galleria while we were shopping for kitchen stuff, then ran into them at a 4th of July thing afterwards. I felt regretful that we didn't get their phone number or something. This is similar to what would happen while I was in Ireland. I would meet another traveler and we would (hitch) hike together until it was time to part. We would form instant bonds with one another, then never see or talk to one another again. And that's just the way things would happen.

Anyway, back to the babies we've seen lately who all happened to have been a month older than Lauren. They're huge - the size Lauren *might* be when she's 18 months. Granted she is a bit small, but these other babies have out-weighed her by a good 8 to 10 pounds. I'm meant to be taking her in this weekend for a weight check. I think she's experienced a growth spurt over the last month. So, what is it? Have we just happened to meet people with gigantic babies, or is Lauren unusually small? I don't think so - I asked a pediatric cardiologist in my department about it and he said she was fine. Could these people be giving their babies raw red meat?|||79951585|||
