I have a huge problem with procrastination. I've never looked it up, but I imagine that a serial procrastinator is also impulse driven. For example:

Gosh, I haven't cleaned this toilet or the bathroom at all in over a year. Hmmm... I think the last time was when Mom said the President was coming to visit and silly me, I believed her! Let's see... how old was I then? 7? 8? and now I'm 31. I guess that means it's been a lot longer than a year since I cleaned the bathroom. No wonder the president doesn't come to visit. The secret service probably won't let him. Well, there's no time like the present and I'm really in the mood! Yeah!! Where's that crusty old can of Comet I shoved to the back of the shelf and where's the bleach and the Lysol and the toilet bowl brush? Wow. This is cool. I'm going to clean the bathroom and I am so in the mood. Oh. Damn. Wait. Look at the time - I have to be at work in 5 minutes. I guess I'll just have to clean the bathroom sometime when I'm feeling inspired again.

So, my 11th resolution is to not procrastinate as much. I have to take the kids to the dentist, but first I have to iron out how my dental insurance works which will require a phone call and maybe some paperwork (I have a dental HMO.)|||86848426|||
