The new car is such a relief. The kids and I went to bed at 8 last night. I thought I would just lay down with them to get them to sleep, but then next thing I knew it was half past midnight! But, I had been planning to go to the grocery store after they were asleep, and it was a really nice feeling to think that I wouldn't have to worry about whether or not DH would need it or if I would have to borrow my father's.
