Maybe with some creative thinking, I could have made up some excuse why I needed to be away from home from 3pm on Saturday until after 12pm on Sunday, and then gone on my own. I could have stocked up on a dozen Frostys, a ton of crackers, and a large economy sized bottle of Tums and then sat by myself in the peaceful quiet and read the new Harry Potter.
