I found this today in an explanation of how frogs will be used in a research endeavour:

Testes Harvesting
Day 1: Prime 5 Male Frogs
Day 3: Continue Priming
Day 4: Euthanize the Frogs
Day 4: Cut through the skin and body musculature to expose the body cavity. Using a pair of fine scissors, remove the testes.
Day 4: Before disposing of the carcass, use scissors to remove its heart.
