I went online to read reviews of these items from other parents, and basically the reviews all say that these toys are crap. A couple of people suggested that the Icee Maker may have some practical adult uses though. Then, I thought, instead of these stylized toy blenders why don't I get our little Bear a real blender for Christmas! I don't own a blender, even though it was the single most important appliance we had in our kitchen in college. My roommate owned the blender. I owned the coffee maker. We hardly ever used the coffee maker since we preferred to get quadruple shot mocha lattes from the coffee carts on campus. Thus, my roommate's beloved blender was forever blending when weren't in class.

Anyway, I am selling Bear on the idea. He likes the idea of a red blender. The cheapest one I've found so far is $70. Still, a blender is really useful, right? And I have three kids. One day they will all go to sleep at normal hours and that blender will look mighty enticing, especially on a weekend night. Oh, this is so exciting! We're getting a blender!!!! Thank you, Santa!!!!!! (Blenders are also good for certain soup recipes and have many practical uses besides ice cream flurries, slushees and well... what I want to use it for.)|||106901278752591040|||Dear Santa
