11/25/2003 03:39:13 PM|||Amy|||This whole Thanksgiving thing has turned into a minor disaster. My aunt is going to be doing all the cooking which will end up making me feel like a guilty slug. It's too far for us to take food with us, and she wants us all to stay away until it's time for lunch. I can't blame her, but there is one of her and 7 of us. *Then* we are going to use her home as a launching pad for the next day's activities. My cousin and her kids were supposed to be there, but they aren't going to show until Friday. What to do?? Labor is cheaper than flowers. How can I show my appreciation for her hard work without spending a small fortune on a floral arrangement? I'm going to take some wine. Is that enough?
