When I was in school, we had to use poster board. Bear's experiment was to see which liquids when added to baking soda would make it bubble. I think I could effectively explain why baking soda bubbles when mixed with an acid, but I don't understand it myself so we left it at the bubble effect. All in all, it came out okay. He typed out most of the presentation, then we printed out each step in the scientific method on a different piece of paper and taped each one in its appropriate spot on the board. Then, we (re: I) placed a couple of tablespoons of baking soda in little baggies (not this kind of baggy) and added each liquid we tested, then we (re: I) stapled the bags to the board. Then, I took a picture of Bear's proud accomplishment.
See, all those endless years of having the scientific method drilled into our heads counted for something! (Yeah, yeah I know the scientific method has many useful applications.)|||107532777258060260|||The Bubble Effect
