1/16/2004 05:51:02 PM|||Amy|||Today, I have found myself in a conundrum. First, I came into work at 10am. I probably shoulda been here by 8. Oh well. Then, I half-heartedly did a little bit of work for about an hour. I had a conversation with one of my faculty who I don't really like, but I am very careful to make her think that I think she's fabulously wonderful and today I told her about how hard I am working to create her budget. She gave me an orange. Then, after the wonderous gift of the orange, I talked on the phone for a long time with another of my faculty who I really like. She's got a life, and so, she's fun to hang out with and talk to. After this exhausting morning, I left the orange on my desk and went to a really tasty Thai place for lunch. Feeling guilty about having splurged on Thai food, I then bought a lottery ticket and a diet coke with lime. Afterwards, I came back to my desk and made inane comments on my sister's blog.
