"Let It Be" because when I hear it, and I am not expecting it, I experience a feeling of security.

2. Name the most recent movie you saw? Reluctantly? And found yourself surprised to enjoy it.

21 Grams. I really had no desire to see it, but I felt myself compelled to watch it as one might feel one's self compelled to look at still photos of Nick Berg's death. The fucking media.

3. What is the first television show you remember being genuinely hooked on from childhood?

We watched a lot of tv around my house when I was a kid. I can't remember which shows I absolutely had to see, but I do remember getting up early on Saturday mornings to watch Saturday morning tv. I remember absolutely loving Bewitched and the Tabitha spin-off. I also remember being fascinated with comedies from the 30's and 40's that would be shown on weekend afternoons. To this day, those are still my favorite movies.

4. What common perception about you ain't necessarily so?

That I am gullible. I have a black heart at times, so I work very hard to portray a certain image of my personality. Or rather, I work very hard to mask the ugliness of my personality, and I sometimes overcompensate and come across as gullible. I think, though, that now that I am getting older - I feel less guilty about the blackness and let it come out to play more. The other day I told someone to leave me alone when they came in my office to chat because I was right in the middle of a huge, deadline driven project. It felt really good (after I stopped feeling guilty) to not be "nice" all of the time.
