Winston is still not walking, yet we are coming up on her 14 month birthday. Yay, Winston! Don't give in to the pressure!

My feet, apparently, are very stinky and have made my shoes match. The stench rising from the floor where my shoes are currently resting without feet is causing much nausea.

Monkey is back to her old, wicked ways of climbing up furniture to open cabinets where the breakables are placed to keep them out of Monkey hands. She is very close to potty training though! She's just not quite sure if she's ready for big girl undies, but I think the time is nigh. She clings just as much as ever. Though, for some reason - she has been sleeping in these last few mornings and has missed the daily pleading sessions in which she assures me that work is stupid and I shouldn't go. She has, however, repeatedly forbidden me to go to work when I see her in the evenings.

Bear is exhibiting classic sibling rivalry behaviours - to the point that whenever he gets in trouble, he simply yells, "Mine!"
Mine? What does this mean? Is this, "My trouble! My time out! Not your time-out, Monkey! Or yours, Winston! But Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! I'm so happy that I'm getting yelled at and exiled to time out!"
He's doing really well in school. No discipline issues have come up, and he's getting good marks. We've even been meeting the 15 minute reading requirement every night - which, really, is amazing.

I think that I am within a couple of weeks of being officially and legally bankrupt. I'm exploring the tax ramifications of getting divorced this year - as I might be within a few weeks of also no longer being married. If we divorce now, how will that affect our filing status for this year? If anyone who might read this knows, please advise!!! I love advice!!!!

Hmmmm.... let's see.... what other news is there? It's fall! It's fall! I love the fall!

Oh yeah, my broken fingers. I still don't have any feeling in the first joints of my middle and ring finger on my right hand. Washing that hand is best done with liquid soap and a super gentle scrubbing motion - much like washing intensely delicate china. There are large splotches of blood showing through the nail on a black and yellow background. It's kind of creepy actually. Almost as if that part of the fingers is dead.
