I took Bear and Monkey to McDonald’s on Saturday to play, and then the three of us moved on to his best friend’s place. While Bear and his friend chased Monkey around upstairs, the friend’s mother and I sat downstairs and practiced our vocabulary of curse words. It was a childish, but necessary, exercise in trying to assert the part of our personalities that we usually beat back with a stick.
Yesterday was the afore mentioned movie and yet another trip to McDonald's. Oh, and on Saturday, the Bear's Tiger cubs den took a tour of the firehouse. I was trying to remember if any of the firemen who gave us the tour were any of the ones that have been to my house to cart my mother off to the hospital recently. They didn't look familiar, but then I would be hard pressed to remember those guys anyway - what with the way I was fighting with John in the back.

Is it overcompesating to send out emails to announce the arrival of cub scout popcorn that have an equal number of sentences and exclamation points?
I have officially decided to put the divorce off until the first of the year. No matter which way you slice and dice it, it will be more harmful financially to speed this thing up.
My brother's kid is really cute. But God help the wee boy, he looks just like my brother.
