11/30/2004 10:17:42 PM|||Amy|||Maybe tomorrow, when I am at work and in need of a non- mouse eviscerating, plague inducing, cancer producing distraction (yep, I work for people who who are studying human development in a mouse model, cancer at the molecular biological level (or something like that) in frog models and Yersinia pestis - stalk me now all you animal rights activists!) I will write a thought out post on that for which I am thankful. Right now, I will just throw this out:
I am thankful for my beautiful children even if I sometimes wonder if the pound will take them and house train them for me. I am thankful that we have a place to live. I am thankful for lawyers who can fix things even though navigating through emotional trauma and grief is a a bitch.
We had a great Thanksgiving. My sister was here and she didn't get sick or break anything this time. There was very little fighting, and there wasn't a whole lot of back breaking labor in the kitchen. My brother's wife is an incredible and peaceful person and a super good influence on the rest of us.
And I keep getting whiffs of natural gas as I type this which can only mean that the house is about to explode. That's just great.
